Mediation is a process that allows two parties in conflict to sit down and talk out their differences. In its simplest terms – a conversation.

Mediators facilitate this process and help both parties to move past the point of conflict in a peaceful and cooperative manner. In mediation we recognise that dealing with conflict isn’t easy and that what has happened in the past cannot be changed, however we also recognise that the future is something both clients can control and help shape positively.

Mediation doesn’t just aim to resolve a problem once, but help people in conflict find what they need to ensure it never happens again or in the event it does, ensure that they have a way to deal with it in a peaceful manner.
